Jayem Exports

Our place, Jayem Exports, is situated at 167i Block in Keeraithottam. It’s part of New Washermanpet, which is a busy area with a lot of movement. The building is just a standard workspace where we keep our tools and the items we are preparing for export. It’s often quite loud outside with the sounds of the neighborhood, but we’ve gotten used to it. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of tape dispensers and the occasional radio playing in the background. We don't have a lot of employees, just a handful of us who know the routine. We spend most of our time double-checking orders and making sure the weights are recorded correctly. It’s boring work for some, but it’s what keeps things moving. The office part is just a desk with an old computer and a printer that sometimes jams. We don't use fancy terminology or have big meetings. We just talk about what needs to be shipped today and what can wait until tomorrow. Sometimes we run out of packing materials and have to send someone out to get more quickly. It’s a bit disorganized at times, but we always manage to get the job done. We’ve been in New Washermanpet for a while and know most of the other small business owners around the block. We just do our work and go home when the task is finished.
