Our office is actually just a flat, number F1, inside the Golden Jap Nagar complex in Nerkundram. It is at number 207 if you are looking for the building. It’s a residential neighborhood in Chennai, so it’s a bit different from being in a big commercial tower. We have lived and worked in this area for quite some time. The apartment is filled with samples and piles of paperwork because we deal with international shipping and textiles. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped with all the boxes around, but we make it work. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try not to make too much noise when we are moving things in or out. The walk up to the flat can be hot in the summer, especially since the Chennai sun doesn't show much mercy. We don't have a big sign outside or anything like that. People usually just find us through word of mouth or by looking for the address. It’s a simple life here. We start the day with some coffee, check the emails from overseas, and then spend the rest of the time on the phone. It’s a lot of back and forth with suppliers and customers. We don't have any flashy stuff in the office, just the basics like desks, chairs, and a printer that jams way too often. It’s just how things are for us in Nerkundram. We like the quiet here most days.
