Nellai Pet Clinic

Our clinic, Nellai Pet Clinic, is located at 54 Vailankanni School Main Road in Valsaravakkam. Since we are on the main road near the school, it gets quite busy around here in the mornings and afternoons. You can hear the school bell ringing from inside the clinic during the day. The shop itself is at number 54 and it is a modest space that we have lived with for years. We spend our days seeing all kinds of pets, mostly dogs and cats from the families living around Valsaravakkam. It can get a bit loud inside when several dogs are waiting their turn and they start barking at each other or at the street noise. We have a small wooden counter where we keep the records and some basic pet supplies on the shelves that are a bit dusty. It is not a fancy veterinary hospital, just a local clinic where we do checkups and give shots. The floor is usually covered in a bit of pet hair no matter how many times we sweep it with the broom. We know a lot of the local pets by name since they come back every year for their boosters. Sometimes people just stop by to ask a quick question about their cat's diet or a weird bump they found. It is a bit cramped when it is busy, and we have to move chairs around to make room. The smell of antiseptic is pretty strong, but we are used to it.
