Nbs Nidhi Limited

Our office is located at 14/13 Thiruvallur Street over in Gandhi Nagar. This is in the Chennai-600093 area. We spend a lot of our time dealing with small savings and deposits for the people who live around this part of town. It is a simple setup with a few desks and some wooden benches for people to sit on while they wait for us to finish. We aren't a big bank with marble floors and security guards. It is just a plain office where we do the daily work. We have stacks of passbooks that need updating every morning. Sometimes the ink in the stamps runs dry and we have to go out and get more from the shop. It is those little things that make up our day. We know most of the people who come in because they are our neighbors. We talk about the weather or the local news while we process their transactions on the counter. It is a slow and steady kind of work for us. We keep the ledgers tidy and make sure every bit of money is accounted for at the end of the shift. No one here is wearing a fancy suit or expensive shoes. We just wear what is comfortable and get to the tasks at hand. It is about being consistent and being here at the desk when the doors open every morning.
