Naveed Nafees & Co

We are down at 7/4 Nabikhan Subedar Street in Periamet. This area is famous for leather, and that’s exactly what we do. Naveed Nafees & Co has been a part of this community for quite a while. Our building is one of those older ones with high ceilings and narrow stairs. Inside, it’s filled with the smell of processed hides. It’s a scent you either love or you don't. We deal with raw leather and finished skins, supplying them to manufacturers who make shoes and bags. It is a hands-on job. We spend a lot of time inspecting the quality of the leather, looking for marks or uneven thickness. Our desk is usually covered in ledger books and samples. We don't use much technology beyond the basics. We prefer talking to people face-to-face or over a quick phone call. Periamet is a crowded place, and our street is no exception. There’s always someone hauling a cart full of leather past our door. It’s a hardworking neighborhood. We know our neighbors and the other traders around here. We aren't looking to become some massive corporation. We just want to keep providing good leather to the people who need it and earn a decent living while we’re at it. It is just the way we've always done things here, and it seems to work out okay for us.
