National Fire Armour

Our place is located at 51, Kutty Street, which is in the Nungambakkam area. It is a fairly quiet street compared to some of the bigger roads nearby, but it still has its busy moments in the mornings. National Fire Armour is just a regular shop on the block. We have been here long enough that the neighbors know us, though we mostly just keep to ourselves and get the work done. The building itself is pretty standard for this part of Nungambakkam. We have a lot of stuff piled up inside because fire equipment takes up a good amount of room. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time backing into Kutty Street because it is not very wide. We usually have to go out and help them guide the truck in so they don't hit anything. It’s just the way it goes here. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is good because it gets hot in the afternoons. We don't have a big reception area or fancy chairs for people to sit in. Usually, people just come in, tell us what they are looking for, and we find it for them in the back. It’s a practical way to run things. We like being in this neighborhood even if the parking is a bit of a headache for everyone involved.
