We have got our setup at number 1, Fifth Street, just off Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai. It is a good spot because it is central, though parking can sometimes be a bit of a puzzle for visitors. We are a textile company, so naturally, the office is usually smelling of fresh cloth. We have stacks of different fabrics piled up in the corners, and the desks are often covered in thread counts and order forms. It is a family-style atmosphere here, even if we are a limited company. Most of the people working here have been around for years and they know the textile business inside and out. We don't do a lot of fancy advertising; mostly we just deal with the regular clients who have been coming to us for their fabric needs. The daily routine involves checking the quality of the incoming stock and making sure the shipments go out to the garment makers on time. Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai is always humming with activity, which keeps the energy up in the office. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee and take short breaks when the heat gets a bit intense. It is a straightforward operation where the focus is on the material and the people we sell it to. We don't have a polished showroom, just a place where we do the work and keep the records straight. It is a bit noisy when the street gets busy, but we have gotten used to it.
