Vivasayee

Our place is located on 30th Street in Thillai Ganga Nagar, right at No. 2. It’s a quiet enough part of Nanganallur most of the time, though the mornings can get a bit loud with people heading to work. Vivasayee is basically about things related to farming and agriculture, which is what the name means, but we’re based right here in the city area. We spend our days talking to people who want to grow things in their backyards or need supplies for their land outside the city. Sometimes it feels a bit odd being in a residential-looking street, but it works for us. The shop isn't very large, just enough space for what we need to keep on hand for the week. We often have people dropping by just to ask questions about plants or see what we’ve got in stock. It gets a bit dusty with all the bags around, but that’s just how it goes with this kind of work. We’ve been here for a bit and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around us with new houses coming up. Most of the folks who work here live nearby, so we usually walk or bike in. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just us handling the day-to-day stuff. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next truck to arrive, but we try to keep people updated. It’s a simple way to make a living and we like it.
