Nandhu Bags And Novelties is our little shop at 5/2 Shanmugarayan Street. We are very close to Stanley Hospital, which is the main thing people look for when they are trying to find us. This is in the Broadway area, a part of town that is always packed with people and traffic. We sell all kinds of bags and then a bunch of novelties too, small things that people like to buy for gifts or for their homes. The street, Shanmugarayan Street, is quite narrow, so it can be a bit of a squeeze when delivery trucks are coming through. We spend our days hanging up bags and arranging the small novelty items on the shelves. It’s a busy life being near Stanley Hospital because there are always people walking back and forth. Broadway is a place where you can find almost anything, and we’ve been part of this community for some time. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a door and some display windows filled with our stock. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us, the bags, and the noise from the street. If you are ever near the hospital and need a bag or some small trinket, you can just walk over to Shanmugarayan Street. We’ll probably be there sorting through some new items or chatting with a neighbor who stopped by. It’s just a normal shop in a very busy neighborhood.
