Marine Consultant

Marine Consultant is located in the Poompuhar Shipping building on Anna Salai in Nandanam. It’s a well-known area in the city, so it’s easy to get to, though the traffic on Anna Salai can be a real headache sometimes. Our office isn’t huge, but it’s where we handle all the consulting work for the marine industry. We spend a lot of time looking at charts, reports, and technical documents. It’s a lot of desk work, but we also have to deal with people coming in and out from the shipping world. We don’t have a flashy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a workspace with desks, chairs, and lots of folders. Being based in Nandanam means we are close to the heart of things, which is helpful for the kind of work we do. We are just a group of people who know a lot about ships and the sea, helping others navigate the rules and requirements. We don’t bother with big mission statements. We just take the projects as they come and try to give honest advice based on what we know. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it’s quiet enough to actually get through the pile of paperwork on the desk. It’s just a regular office life for us here in Chennai. We show up, do the work, and go home like everyone else.
