Steam Smith Systems

Steam Smith Systems is tucked away on 5th Main Road in East CIT Nagar, over in the Nandanam area. The address can be a little confusing because of the old and new numbering, with the old number being 58 and the new one being 10. We’ve had people get lost looking for us before. The building is a bit older, and we have been using this space for our work for a long time. It’s mostly just a practical setup for dealing with steam systems and the hardware that goes with them. Most of our day is spent looking at pipes, valves, and gauges. It’s the kind of work that gets your hands dirty and keeps you on your feet. The CIT Nagar area is actually quite nice, though the roads can feel a bit narrow when a big truck is trying to pass through. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy outside. We just have our work benches and the tools we need to get things done. It gets pretty humid here in Chennai, and working around steam doesn't exactly cool things down, so we drink a lot of water. The routine is pretty much the same every day: open up, check the schedule, and start on the technical stuff. It is a quiet street for the most part, except when the school nearby lets out. We just keep to ourselves and focus on the systems we are building.
