Nakoda & Co.

Our shop is at number 16/1, specifically Shop No 2 on A P Road in Choolai. It’s a busy little corner of the world. If you’ve ever walked down A P Road, you know how packed it gets with shops and people moving back and forth. Nakoda & Co. is a small operation. We don't have much space, so we have to keep everything organized, or we’d never find anything. Most of our day is spent talking to people who walk in and handling various supplies. We’ve been in Choolai for a long time, and we’ve seen the street change quite a bit. The shop is simple—just a counter, some shelves, and us. We don't use any fancy management software; mostly just notebooks and memory. It gets loud outside with the horns and the shouting from the market, but we don't mind it much anymore. It’s just the background noise of our lives. We don't have a mission statement or a set of corporate values posted on the wall. We just try to be fair and get through the day's work without too much trouble. Sometimes we stay late to finish up paperwork or count the stock. It’s not glamorous, but it’s our business and we take it seriously in our own way. We’re just regular people working in a busy part of Chennai and we appreciate everyone who stops by.
