Our office is located right on the Main Road in Manakkal, at No.1/269. It is a very easy place to spot if you are traveling through the area. Nadakudi Nidhi Limited has been part of this community for quite a while now. We operate as a nidhi company, which means we mostly deal with small savings and loans for the local people here in the 610104 zip code. The office is not very big, but it’s always got someone coming or going. We have a few desks where we keep the registers and a couple of benches for people to wait. It’s a bit dusty because of the traffic on the main road, but we try to keep it tidy enough. There are no fancy computers or high-tech systems here; we prefer doing things the old-fashioned way with pens and paper. Most of our members are farmers or small shop owners from around Manakkal who trust us with their money. We don't do any big promotions or try to sound like a city bank. We are just local people working for other local people. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and chat with the customers until it comes back on. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere. We just want to make sure everyone's accounts are correct at the end of the day. That is the way we’ve always run things here on the Main Road. It works for us.
