N. V. S. Manian

N. V. S. Manian is located at New No. 14 on V. V. Koil Street in Periamet. Periamet is an old part of the city, and it has its own unique feel. The streets are narrow, and there are old buildings everywhere you look. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building we’re in has been through a lot. Our space is on V. V. Koil Street, which is usually busy with people moving goods back and forth. It’s not a quiet place. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. Inside, it’s just a simple setup. We have our records, a couple of old chairs for visitors, and a desk that’s seen better days. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there isn't any of that corporate stuffiness. We might be in the middle of a conversation about work and then start talking about what's for dinner. That's just how it is here. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it because there is always something else to do. We deal with people we’ve known for years, so it feels more like a community than just a place of business. If you come by, you’ll probably find us sorting through papers or talking to a neighbor. It’s a humble spot, but it’s ours and we’ve made it work for a long time without needing anything flashy.
