If you are looking for Thomafas, you have to head up to the second floor at No. 187/238 on Royapettah High Road. It’s a busy spot in Mylapore and finding a place to park can be a real headache some mornings. We spend most of our time staring at screens or talking on the phone with people who need things done yesterday. The office isn't huge, but we make it work with what we have. There’s always someone coming or going up those stairs. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but we just ignore it. Mylapore has a certain energy to it that keeps us awake, even after lunch when it gets quiet. We’ve been at this location for a bit and know the rhythms of the street outside. It’s mostly just us trying to keep the files organized and the clients happy without making too much of a fuss. The 2H unit is tucked away back there. We don’t go in for big meetings or long speeches. It’s just about getting through the daily pile of work. Most of us take turns getting coffee from the place downstairs. It’s a regular office life, nothing more and nothing less. We just keep the doors open and do our part in this big city. Every day brings a new set of small problems to solve. Hopefully the lift gets fixed soon so we can stop climbing.
