Muscle Mechanic Fitness Studio

We are over here at 153 Rangarajapuram Main Road. It’s a busy spot in Kodambakkam. Most days start early for us. Muscle Mechanic Fitness Studio isn't one of those fancy places with air conditioning that never works. It’s just us and the machines. Sometimes the weights get dropped too hard and the whole floor vibrates. You can hear the traffic outside on the main road all day long. The door sticks a bit when it rains. We spend a lot of time wiping down benches and putting plates back where they belong. It’s sweaty work. Most people who come in live just a few streets away. We’ve been at this address for a while now. The sign outside is a little faded from the sun. Inside, it smells like rubber and hard work. We don't have a big receptionist desk or anything. Just a notebook to track who comes in. Sometimes the music is too loud, but nobody really complains because they are busy lifting. It’s just a plain room with what you need to get strong. Nothing more, nothing less. Kodambakkam is a loud place anyway. We just add to it. The lights flicker sometimes when we turn the big fans on. It doesn't matter much. People come here to sweat and then they go home. That's how it goes every single day. We keep the doors open till late. It gets dark on Rangarajapuram Main Road but our lights stay on.
