Murugan Trade

Murugan Trade is located at 34 Palani Andavar Kovil Street in Vadapalani. If you know this area, you know it gets quite crowded, especially with the temple nearby. Our building is just a regular place where we handle our daily business tasks. We’ve been at this spot for a good bit of time now. The street is usually full of life, with people walking by and vendors calling out to each other. Inside, we keep our stock organized as best as we can. It involves a lot of manual work, like moving boxes and checking what has arrived in the morning. Big signs or bright lights aren't really our style. Most people find us because they live in the neighborhood or heard about us from a friend. We deal with various goods that people use every single day. Some days are slow, so we just sit by the door and watch the traffic go by. Other days, it seems like everyone decides to come at the exact same time. We don't mind either way. It’s always good to stay busy. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time for that yet. Our focus is mainly on getting the orders right for whoever walks in. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We open the doors early, do our work, and head home once the sun goes down. That’s how it goes for us in Vadapalani. It is a simple life here on this street.
