About MURATA ELECTRONICS (INDIA) PVT LTD – Electronics in Chennai
Working at Murata Electronics on the 8th floor of the Capitale building gives us a pretty good view of Anna Salai. We’re at No. 554/555, and the height helps us get away from some of the street noise. It’s a tech-focused business, so there’s always a lot of talk about circuits and components going on. The office is usually humming with the sound of computers and the air conditioning. Being in a big building like this means we have to deal with elevators and security every morning, which can be a bit of a drag when you’re in a rush. We have a small pantry where we all gather for a quick break. It’s not a very fancy place inside, despite being in a modern building. We just have our desks, some test equipment, and a lot of folders. The team is a mix of people who have been here forever and a few newer faces. We don’t really go in for big speeches or formal events. We just get the work done and head home when the sun goes down. Anna Salai is always busy, so we usually wait for the traffic to die down a bit before leaving. It’s a steady job in a central location. We focus on the tiny details of the electronics because that’s what the job needs. It’s a lot of sitting and checking specs, but it keeps us busy through the week.
