M/S Star Cooling Tower Pvt Ltd.

Out in Nerkundram, we have our base at No. 30-A Reddy Street. Star Cooling Tower is the name on the gate, though the paint is peeling a bit these days. It’s a large yard with plenty of space for the big cooling units we work on. You’ll usually find us outside or in the shed where the assembly happens. It’s loud because of the power tools and the sound of wood being cut. We get a lot of sawdust on our clothes. There are about six of us who work here regularly. We’ve all learned how to handle the heavy fiberglass panels over the years. The sun can be pretty brutal in the afternoons, so we try to get the hardest work done early. We have a small office near the entrance where we keep the records. It’s just a desk, a couple of chairs, and a mountain of invoices. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If someone walks in, whoever is closest to the door goes to talk to them. We mostly deal with factories that need their cooling systems fixed or replaced. It’s a messy job sometimes, especially when we’re cleaning out old basins. We just focus on the task at hand. There’s a tea shop down Reddy Street that we visit every morning. It’s a simple setup, and we like it that way. We just keep building the towers and hope the rain holds off until we’re done.
