M/S. Revathi Equipment Limited

Our place is over at 1020, 76th Street in the 12th Sector of K.K. Nagar in Chennai. It is a fairly quiet part of the neighborhood compared to the main roads, but we still get plenty of activity. We deal with various types of industrial equipment and spare parts. If you walked into our office, you would see a lot of shelves filled with manuals and some heavy components sitting on the floor. It is not a polished showroom by any means. It is a working space where things get greasy and dusty. The humidity here in Chennai is always a challenge for the metal parts, so we have to be careful about how we store things. We have a small group of people who have been here for years. We know most of the people on our street and often grab tea from the stall at the corner in the afternoon. We don't have any big mission statements or marketing slogans on the walls. We just have a calendar and a lot of to-do lists. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking inventory levels. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time navigating the narrow street when they come to drop off new equipment, but we always manage to get it inside. It is just a regular local business life. We show up, we do the work, and we go home. It is practical and it keeps us busy.
