M/S. Kier International Limited

We operate out of a building called Sri Sankara Krupa, which is tucked away on Jawahar Street Extension in K. K. Nagar West. Chennai is a big, loud city, but our little corner of it is a bit more tucked back from the main chaos. Kier International has been at this 16/3 address for a good while. It’s more of a home-turned-office vibe, which makes the long hours a bit more bearable. We’ve got a small team here managing international projects, so there is a lot of emailing and late-night calls because of the time differences. It’s not a corporate skyscraper; it is just a regular street where you can hear the neighbors and the local vendors going by. Sometimes the humidity in Chennai makes the office feel a bit slow, but we keep the fans going and stay on top of the paperwork. We do not really go in for big presentations or flashy signs. Most of our work is done through technical specs and logistics. People in the neighborhood probably just see us as the quiet office down the street. We like it that way because it lets us focus on the engineering and the management stuff we have to do. It is a lot of coordination with people in different countries, all happening from this quiet spot in K. K. Nagar. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
