Jehovah Trading

You can find Jehovah Trading right on Mount Road in the Thousandlight area. Everyone knows Mount Road. It’s the spine of the city, so it’s always crowded with cars and people rushing somewhere. Being in Thousandlight means there’s never a quiet moment. We’re in one of those buildings that has seen a lot of history. Our space isn't huge, but we make it work. It’s filled with files and the usual stuff you’d expect in a trading office. We don’t have those fancy modern interiors. It’s more about the work than the look of the place. The tea man comes by twice a day, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists. Sometimes the noise from the traffic outside gets so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard. It’s just the way it is on Mount Road. We don’t put on any acts. We’re just regular people running a business. Most of our neighbors are also busy traders, so everyone is always in a hurry. Finding parking is a nightmare, so we mostly see people who walk over from the bus stop or the metro. It’s a gritty, busy part of Chennai, and we fit right in. We’ve been here long enough that the walls feel familiar. It’s just home for us during the day, right in the heart of all that traffic.
