Moore Travels

If you head down to Parrys, you know how crowded it gets. Moore Travels is right in the thick of it at No 17, Narayanappan Street. We are near Beach Station, so you can always hear the trains in the distance. Also, Muthiyalpet Grils School in Mannady is close by, which means the street gets very busy when school lets out. Our office is in an old building. The walls are thick and it stays relatively cool, which is a blessing in the Chennai heat. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Just a door and some people working inside. We handle travel arrangements for whoever walks in. Parrys is a place where business happens on the street, so we’re always talking to the neighbors. There’s a lot of history in these streets. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but the hustle remains the same. We drink a lot of coffee from the place around the corner. Most of our day is spent checking schedules and talking to drivers. It’s a lot of coordination. We don't make big promises; we just try to be practical. If a train is late or a road is blocked, we just deal with it. It’s how things go here. We like being part of this old part of the city. It’s got a character you don’t find in the newer suburbs. We usually close up once the sun goes down and the school traffic has cleared.
