We’re located in Hussaina Manzil on Mooker Nallamuthu Street, right near where Vanier Street cuts across. It’s an old part of the city where the buildings are close together and the streets are always full of people and carts. Our place at number 16 is usually packed with industrial items. It’s not a place where everything is neatly organized on shelves like a supermarket. You have to know where to look, and we usually know exactly which corner a specific part is hiding in. We deal with a lot of different industrial goods, the kind of things that keep factories and small workshops going. It’s a bit dark inside sometimes because the buildings are so old and close together, but we like the character of the place. We’ve seen many businesses come and go on this street, but we just keep doing what we do. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and checking specifications for customers. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People mostly find us because they’ve been coming here for years or they were told to check Mooker Nallamuthu Street for what they need. It’s a busy, noisy, and very real way to spend the workday. We just focus on the inventory and helping the people who walk through the door. Some days the humidity is high, but we just keep at it.
