Chennai Power Services Private Limited is based out of No. 18 Ashirvatham Nagar in Mogappair. It’s a residential-feeling area, which makes the workday feel a bit more relaxed than if we were in the middle of the city. We’ve got a small office here that doubles as a storage space for our gear and some extra cables. Most of our work actually happens out at client sites, but this is where we plan everything and keep the books. The street is usually lined with trees, and it’s a nice place to take a breather when things get stressful. We aren't the type of company that has a polished sales pitch. We just know how to handle power systems and we’ve been doing it long enough that we don’t need to overcomplicate things. When a call comes in, we grab the tools and head out from Mogappair. It’s a lot of driving and a lot of manual work in different conditions. Back at Ashirvatham Nagar, the office is usually a bit cluttered with manuals and spare parts. We don't mind it much. It shows we’re actually working. We’ve built a decent reputation around here just by being reliable and showing up when we say we will. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure the lights stay on and the systems run right. No. 18 is where it all starts for us every morning.
