Wriston Elastomers Pvt. Ltd. is based out of the D3 Industrial Estate in Mogappair East. Chennai is a big city for manufacturing, and we’re right in the middle of it all. We deal with elastomer products, which basically means a lot of rubber and flexible materials for different uses. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a typical industrial unit with the usual smell of processed materials and machinery. We spend most of our time at the machines, making sure the mixes are right and the molds are filled properly. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it has to be done carefully so the pieces come out right. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we have a good group that knows how we do things. We don’t really do big advertising campaigns or have a sales team running around. Most people find us because they need something specific made and they heard we could do it. Sometimes the weather in Chennai makes the workshop pretty humid, which can be a bit of a challenge with certain materials, but we manage. We’ve been at this address for a while and have a routine that works for us. It’s just a regular business trying to stay busy and keep the orders moving out to whoever needs them. No fancy slogans here, just people working with rubber every day of the week.
