Micafab

Micafab is located at No 17 First Main Road in Kasturba Nagar, Adyar. It’s a nice enough spot, with some trees along the road that give a bit of shade in the afternoons. Our building is right there on the corner, so it’s hard to miss if you’re driving by. We’ve been in Adyar for years. The inside of our place is a bit of a mess sometimes, with papers and samples scattered across the tables. We keep saying we’ll organize it over the weekend, but then Monday rolls around and we’re back to being busy. It’s a small team here. We know each other well, which makes the long days go by faster. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It helps keep the energy up when we have a big deadline. Most of our days are spent talking to people on the phone or checking the latest production runs. Being on First Main Road means we get a bit of foot traffic, people just popping in to ask what we do. We tell them we’re Micafab and show them around if we aren’t too busy. It’s a practical way to run a business. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here a long time and people know where to find us. It isn't a fancy setup but it works for us and the people who use our services regularly.
