Mehra Eyetech Pvt Ltd is found over in Vadapalani. We are at New No 19 on Duraisamy Road. It’s a busy part of town, especially with all the cinema industry stuff happening nearby. The office is pretty straightforward and functional. We deal with eye care technology and optical equipment. Most of the time, the rooms are filled with specialized machines that we are testing or preparing to send out to customers. It’s not a very big building, so we have to use every bit of space wisely. The team has been together for a while now, so we all know who does what without needing to say much. Duraisamy Road can be a bit tight when trucks are making deliveries, but we manage to get by. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. The furniture is a bit old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't affect the quality of the work we do. We focus on the technical details of the lenses and the machines. It’s a lot of sitting and looking through manuals or checking screens for errors. In the evenings, the area gets really lively with people. We usually finish up and head out before the worst of the traffic hits the main road. It’s a steady job in a steady location. We like being in Vadapalani because it feels like the heart of the city and everything is close by.
