Meera Toys And Crafts is situated on the first floor at 25, Venkatesa Agraharam in the Mylapore area. Being in Mylapore, we are right in the middle of a very old and traditional part of the city. There’s a lot of history in these streets, and you can feel it when you walk around. Our space is on the first floor, so you have to come up the steps to find us. Once you’re inside, you’ll see that it’s filled with all sorts of things. Since we deal with toys and crafts, there’s usually a bit of a creative mess going on. We have samples on the shelves and materials tucked into corners. It’s not the most orderly place in the world, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of our time looking at designs or checking the things we have. It’s a small team, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s answering the phone or packing up a box. The neighborhood is great because there are always people around and plenty of places to grab a quick bite. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just our workspace where we make things happen. We’ve been part of this street for a long time and we like the rhythm of life here. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in Mylapore.
