We are located at No 6, Bishop Wallers South Avenue, right in the heart of Mylapore. It is a nice part of town, though the streets can get pretty narrow and crowded during festival times. Medical Resources India Pvt Ltd is run out of a fairly modest building here. We don’t have a giant sign or a lobby with a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from a desk. The office feels a bit lived-in, with stacks of journals and folders everywhere. We focus on getting medical supplies and resources to the people who ask for them. It is a lot of coordination and logistical headaches, but we have been doing it long enough that we have a rhythm. The trees along the avenue provide a bit of shade, which is nice in the summer heat. We tend to start early before the traffic gets too bad. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the local spots nearby. We are not a huge corporation with thousands of employees. It is just a handful of us making sure things run smoothly. Sometimes the internet goes down or the courier is late, and we just have to deal with it. We do not have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just come in, do the work, and try to keep things moving without making it complicated. It is a steady job in a good neighborhood.
