The office for Mayur is tucked away in the G.O.Chs Flats on 2nd Avenue in Besantnagar. Being in this part of Chennai is nice because we are quite close to the beach, so we get a bit of a breeze sometimes. We are at B.19/5, which is a residential-style flat that we’ve used as our workspace for quite some time. It’s a very quiet area compared to the rest of the city, which helps us focus on our work. It’s just a practical place to get things done. In the afternoons, we usually take a break and talk about what’s happening in the neighborhood. Chennai can be incredibly humid, so we usually have the windows open to let the air in. There is no big corporate culture here; we just treat each other like family. We’ve been at this Besantnagar address for a long time and the postman knows exactly where to bring our letters. It’s a comfortable spot and it suits the way we like to work without any unnecessary pressure or noise.
