Maytas Infra Limited has a spot at 41/30 Kasthuri Nagar 2nd Street in Korattur. This is where we handle things for the Chennai area. It’s a quiet enough street, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on complicated infrastructure plans. The office is pretty simple. We have the usual stuff like desks and filing cabinets, nothing that would impress a corporate executive. But it works for us. We’ve been in Korattur for a while and the locals generally know where we are. Our work involves a lot of technical details and site visits. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and checking on progress. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We don't really do the whole "polished image" thing. We’re more likely to be seen in work boots than suits. Sometimes the office gets a bit cluttered with samples and blueprints, but we know where everything is. Chennai is a big place, and being based in Kasthuri Nagar helps us stay a bit away from the main city chaos while still being close enough to get to the sites. We just take things one day at a time and try to solve whatever problems come up on the projects. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy. We don’t need anything more than that to get the job done.
