If you head down Old Mahapalipuram Road and turn into Burma Colony, you'll find us. Marine Solutions is on the second floor of number 241. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, especially in the Chennai heat, but the view of the road from up here is okay. We deal with marine stuff—parts, equipment, things for boats and ships. Perungudi is a busy area these days with all the tech parks nearby, but we are just a small outfit tucked away. The office is usually cluttered with catalogs, spare parts, and half-empty coffee cups. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers or trying to track down a specific part for a customer who is stuck. It’s not a glamorous life. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to wait to send emails. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just like what we do. My colleague has been working in the maritime sector for decades, so he knows a lot of stories. We usually sit around and talk about the old days of the port while we wait for the courier to arrive. People find us because they need help with their vessels, and we do what we can from this little office in Perungudi. It's honest work, and it keeps us busy enough to not worry about much else besides the shipping schedule.
