Marg Constructions Ltd

Our base for Marg Constructions Ltd is at 3/143, Makeshwari Street in Jalladanpet, Medavakkam. This part of Chennai has changed quite a bit recently with all the new construction going on. Our office is a simple, low-slung building that doesn’t really stand out from the houses around it. Inside, it’s a bit of a mix of everything. We have stacks of bricks and some samples of tiles near the entrance. The desks are covered with ledgers and site reports. We don’t have a cleaning crew that comes in every night, so there’s usually a bit of dust on the shelves. It’s a very practical space meant for getting work done rather than hosting fancy meetings. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to site supervisors and material suppliers. Our team is a small group of people who have been in the construction trade for a while. We don't have any interest in marketing ourselves or using big words to describe what we do. We just build things. When the workday is over, we switch off the lights and lock the heavy iron gate. It’s a routine that works for us. We aren't a big corporate entity with a high-rise office. We’re just a local outfit in Medavakkam doing what we know how to do, day in and day out. It’s hard work and the weather is often very hot, but we keep at it anyway.
