We are over here in Royapettah, right on the High Road. Most people know the spot because it’s directly across from where the Pilot Cinema Hall used to be. It’s a busy part of town and we’ve been at this address for a good while now. The building is an old one, New No 31 though the old number was 17, which sometimes confuses the delivery guys. We spend most of our mornings just getting things ready and dealing with whoever walks through the door. It gets pretty loud outside with all the traffic but you get used to it after a few years. We aren't a big operation, just a few of us here doing what needs to be done. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit on the steps for a bit. Manis & Co has been our home base and we know the neighbors pretty well. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just desks, some files, and the work we have to finish by the end of the day. If you are coming from the main junction, you just look for the cinema sign and we are right there. The front door sticks a little when it rains so you have to give it a good push. We don't do much advertising because people around Royapettah already know where we are. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep things moving. We usually close up around the same time every evening.
