Maliban Exim Trading India Privatelimited is located at No. 6 Umberson Street in Chennai. If you know the area, you know it is right in the heart of the old trading district. The streets here are narrow and always full of people moving stuff around on carts or motorcycles. It is a very different world from the shiny malls. Our office is right in the thick of it. We do a lot of trading, mostly buying and selling things across borders. The building we are in has been around for a long time. It has that old Chennai feel to it which we actually like. There is always a bit of dust and a lot of noise from outside, but that is just part of being on Umberson Street. We aren't trying to be fancy or look like a big multinational firm. We are just traders who know how to find what people need. The paperwork can be a mess sometimes because we deal with so many different items. We spend a lot of time talking to vendors and making sure the quality is what it should be. It is a fast-paced environment even if it looks a bit old-fashioned from the outside. We have our routines and our favorite tea stall nearby. It is hard work but it is what we know how to do best. Every day is a scramble to get everything ready for the next shipment, but we managed to make it work.
