Maha Cauvery Export

Maha Cauvery Export is based at No. 365 in the Sidco Industrial Estate in Ambattur. Being in an industrial area, we are surrounded by workshops and factories. There is a constant sound of machinery and trucks moving around outside. Our space is quite large because we need to store and handle a lot of cargo. The ceilings are high and we use big fans to keep the air moving, though it still gets quite warm. The office is a small partitioned area that we try to keep clean, though the dust from the industrial estate makes it a bit difficult. We have pallets and crates stacked up near the entrance, ready for loading. Our daily work involves a lot of checking manifests and making sure everything is counted correctly. It can be physical work at times, and we usually dress in casual clothes because of the environment. There’s a small canteen nearby where we go for our tea and lunch. It’s not a glamorous setting, but it’s a steady place to work. We spend our time making sure the goods are prepared right for export and that everything leaves on schedule. It’s a busy atmosphere and we’re always on the move. We’ve been here in Ambattur for a long time and are part of the industrial landscape. It’s a bit of a grind sometimes, but we appreciate having a steady place to work.
