Magnum Clothing Pvt Ltd is located over at 119 Thiruneermalai Road in Chromepet. It’s a fairly straightforward place to find if you’re familiar with this part of town. The road can get quite noisy with all the buses passing by, but once you step inside our gate, it’s mostly just the sound of the garment work. We’ve got a decent amount of space, though it feels smaller when we have a lot of finished goods waiting to be picked up. The building has been here for quite some time, and it shows a little age, but it’s sturdy and serves us well. Most of us here have been working together for a long time, so we don't really need to explain much to each other anymore. We just get in, check what needs to be stitched or packed, and get to it. The lights are bright on the floor so the tailors can see the fine details. We take our breaks in the small area out back. It’s nothing special, just a place to sit for a minute. We handle all sorts of clothing items throughout the year. The weather in Chennai can be tough, especially the humidity, so we keep the windows open for whatever breeze we can get. It’s a practical way to run things, and we prefer it that way over being in some sterile office block. Everything is kept simple so we can stay focused.
