Our place is at 31-B, Bajani Koil Street in Solaiyur Village. It is located in the Reddiyur Post area of Jolarpet, within the Vellore District of Tamil Nadu. Maersk Global Service Centres Ind Pvt Ltd. has a presence here that might seem surprising given it's a village area. We are a group of local people working in this office day in and day out. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed compared to a big city office. We hear the sounds of the village outside while we work on our computers. It is a straightforward environment where we focus on the tasks at hand. Most of us travel from nearby towns to get here every morning. We don't have a big corporate cafeteria, so we usually bring our own lunch and eat together. The work involves a lot of data and communication with other centers. We just try to keep our heads down and do the work correctly. There are no big speeches about our values or anything like that here. We just show up, do what is required, and go home to our families. The street we are on is usually quiet, which makes it a nice place to work without too many distractions. It’s just a normal office in a small corner of Tamil Nadu. We have been here for a few years now and the local community is used to us being around the Bajani Koil Street area.
