Madras Auto Glass

We are located at Shop No-64/3 in the Sidco Industrial Estate. This is on 9th Street in Ambattur, and we are quite close to Gati Transport. Being in an industrial estate means there are always a lot of heavy vehicles moving around and it gets quite loud during the day. Madras Auto Glass is where we handle all the work involving vehicle windows and windshields. The shop is basically a large shed with racks designed to hold glass upright. We spend our mornings checking the glass for any scratches and making sure we have enough glue and tools. It is a hot place to work, especially when the sun is beating down on the metal roof. We usually have a few cars parked inside or just outside being worked on. People from the nearby transport companies often come to us when one of their trucks has a broken window. We don't have a fancy waiting area, maybe just a stool or two. It is a working shop, so there is glass dust and old sealant around. We mostly just focus on getting the glass fitted correctly so it doesn't leak. It is a lot of heavy lifting and careful movement. The area is always busy with workers from the other units, so there is a lot of activity on our street. We just keep our heads down and do the work until it is time to go home and rest for the next day.
