Pet India

Our place, Pet India, is located over at No. 75 Ganapathy Garden, right off G. N. T. Road in Madhavaram. It’s a busy area and we’ve been part of it for some time. We deal with pet things, mostly for folks around here who have dogs or cats. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but it stays full of supplies. We spend a lot of our morning just unboxing crates and putting things on shelves where they belong. It’s a lot of physical work. People stop by on their way home from work usually. We know most of the neighborhood pets by name now. Madhavaram has grown quite a bit, but Ganapathy Garden feels like its own little corner. We don't bother with fancy ads or big signs. If you need something for your pet, you probably already know where we are. Sometimes we run out of things if the truck is late, which happens more than we'd like. It’s just how it goes sometimes. We try to keep things simple here. There’s always someone around to help find a specific bag of food or a collar. We keep the doors open even when it’s hot outside. It’s just us doing our thing every day and chatting with the regulars. The floor gets dusty from all the foot traffic, but we sweep it when we can.
