M T R Industries is located right here in Korattur, on 1st Cross Street in Sri Jambukeshwarar Nagar. If you look for 5/15, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s a decent area, mostly quiet compared to the main roads, but we stay busy. We’ve been operating from this corner for a good bit of time. The street is narrow, so when big trucks come by, things get interesting. Most of us here have grown used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. We start early before the sun gets too hot, which is a big deal in Chennai. The shop floor is where most of the life happens. We don’t have much in the way of a front desk or a waiting room with magazines. It’s more of a place where you walk in and see people actually working. We handle our tasks one by one and don’t make a big fuss about things. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s when we usually catch our breath. We’ve seen the buildings around us change over the years, but our little spot stays pretty much the same. It’s just a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We don't have a lot of fancy signs or big posters outside. Just the name and the address. It’s enough for the people who need to find us. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on getting the orders out on time. It’s just how we run things every single day.
