M. S. Tapes

We've been at 60 Gangadeeswarar Koil Street in Purasawalkam for quite a while now. It's a busy spot but we like it here. People mostly know us as M. S. Tapes. Dealing with tapes and packing stuff is what we do every day. It's not the most glamorous job, but someone has to make sure boxes stay shut. The shop is usually a bit dusty because of all the rolls moving in and out. We spend most mornings just sorting through orders and making sure the right sizes are ready. It gets loud outside with the traffic, especially in the afternoons. Sometimes the street is so crowded it’s hard to unload the stock. We just manage as best as we can. We're usually here from morning until the sun goes down. Most of our regulars are from around the neighborhood or small businesses nearby. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk, some shelves, and a lot of tape. If you walk down the street, you can’t miss us. It’s a straightforward business. We keep things moving, answer the phone when it rings, and try to keep the inventory organized. Nothing too complicated really. Just a regular day at the shop. We've seen the area change over the years, but we’re still here at the same old address. It’s been home for a long time. We just get on with the work. There is always something that needs to be taped up. That is just life here in Purasawalkam. We don't plan on moving anytime soon, as this street has been good to us.
