You’ll find us over on Chinna Naicken Street, which is in the Elephant Gate area of Sowcarpet. We are at No 11, on the first floor. It’s a handy location because Amrit Hospital is right nearby, so people usually use that to find us. The street is narrow and always packed with activity. It’s just the way things are around here. Our office is a modest space. We’ve got our cabinets full of folders and our workstations set up in a way that makes sense to us. It might look a bit cluttered to someone else, but we know exactly where everything is kept. We’ve been working from this spot for a good number of years. The people around here are friendly, and we often chat with the neighbors. We don’t really do any fancy marketing. People just know we are here. Our day is mostly spent going through paperwork and talking to people who drop in. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t have any big corporate goals, we just try to get through our daily list and help out whoever comes through the door. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, especially during the busier months. It’s a simple way of running things, but it works for us. We like the energy of Elephant Gate. It keeps us going every day.
