M J Mercantile

M J Mercantile is a local spot at 635, Ambal Nagar Main Road in Ekkatuthangal. We’ve been operating out of this building for some time now. The street is usually full of life, especially during the rush hours. Being on the main road means we see a lot of the neighborhood action. The shop itself is pretty basic. We have our shelves and our counter, and that’s about it. We don't go in for big signs or flashy lights. We just do our work. It can get a bit cramped when a lot of stock comes in at once. We spend our time sorting through things and making sure everything is accounted for. Ekkatuthangal is a busy area and we feel like we’re right in the middle of it. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but we keep the shop dry and the goods safe. We aren't corporate people; we’re just folks trying to run a shop. People stop by because it’s convenient on their way home. We know a lot of the locals by name now. It’s a simple life here on Ambal Nagar Main Road. We don't have any big plans to change things up. We just want to keep doing what we do every day. If you need something, you can usually find us behind the counter or moving crates around. It’s just a normal day-to-day business.
