M J & Co is based at No 3/2 on Nair Varadha Pillai Street. We are located in Royapettah, specifically in the lane right opposite Misahibpet Market. If you know the market, you know it’s a very lively and crowded area. Our street, Nair Varadha Pillai Street, is no different. It’s a narrow lane where everyone knows each other. The office at No 3/2 is a small, functional space. We don’t have any fancy signs or a polished front. It is just where we do our business every day. Being near the market means there is always a lot of noise and people moving about, which we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We spend our time here handling whatever work comes our way. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we have a lot of stuff in the office, but we make it work. We aren’t trying to be a big corporate firm; we are just a local business in Royapettah. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint and the desk is a bit cluttered, but that’s just how a real working office looks. Most people who come to see us are from the neighborhood or have been told about us by someone else. We just keep our heads down and focus on the day’s tasks. It’s a honest way to spend the work week.
