Lucky Flowerhorn World

If you are looking for fish, we are over at No. 32 A South Mada Street in Kolathur. Lucky Flowerhorn World is a place we started because we really liked these specific fish. They have so much personality, more than most people realize. The shop is filled with tanks and the sound of bubbling water is everywhere. It’s a bit humid inside, which you’d expect. We spend a lot of our time cleaning glass and checking the water filters. Flowerhorns need a lot of care, so we are always busy with the feedings and making sure the temperature is just right. People from all over Kolathur come in to take a look. Some are serious collectors and others just like to see the colors. We don’t have a huge staff, just a couple of us who know the fish well. We can tell you which ones are aggressive and which ones are a bit more relaxed. The shop isn't fancy. It's just row after row of tanks. Sometimes we have a few other types of fish, but the flowerhorns are the main reason we are here. South Mada Street is a good place to be. It has that local feel where everyone knows each other. We might be a small shop, but we take the work seriously because the fish depend on us. It’s a lot of work but seeing them grow is worth the effort. We stay open pretty late most days.
