We are located out in Silambur, which is a post area near Andimadam in the Ariyalur district. Specifically, this is the place of R. Selvaiya, the son of D. Rajamanickam. Being in a rural area like this, the pace of life and work is much slower and more relaxed than in the big cities. Our setup is simple and functional, located right within the village community. The building is a traditional style, and we don't have any modern office furniture. We use what is available, like wooden tables and basic chairs. The air is much fresher here, and we usually keep the windows wide open to let the breeze in. We don't have a corporate structure or fancy titles. Everyone just knows Selvaiya and knows where to find us. Most of our day is spent handling local needs and keeping track of things in our ledgers. It’s a very hands-on environment. Sometimes people from the village stop by just to chat for a minute while we are working. We don't have any glossy brochures or mission statements posted on the walls. It’s just a place where work gets done in a quiet, steady way. The floor is simple, and the roof keeps the sun off our heads while we go through the daily routine. It’s a very honest way to run things in this part of the country, just dealing with things as they come.
