Most people around Padi know where we are. Lucas Tvs Ltd has been a part of this area for a long time. It’s a big site, and there's always a lot of movement. Trucks coming in with raw materials and leaving with finished electrical parts for cars and trucks. Inside, it's a mix of old traditions and newer machines. You can hear the hum of the factory from the gates. We have a lot of people working here, some who have been with us for decades. They know the rhythm of the place better than anyone. It’s not the kind of place where you see people in fancy suits very often. Most of us are in uniforms or work gear because it gets dusty and hot. We spend a lot of time looking at alternators and starters and small motors. It’s about getting the wiring right and making sure the components can handle the heat of an engine. We don't spend much time talking about big visions or anything like that. We just talk about the production numbers for the day and if any of the machines need maintenance. The canteen is usually where everyone catches up on the local news or what happened in the cricket match the night before. It’s a community as much as it is a workplace. We just keep the lines running and do our part in the industry here in Padi. It is what we know and we do it well enough.
