Loyal Textile Mills Limited

We've been at this spot on Anna Salai for a long time now. People still get confused between the old number 855 and the new number 22, but it's the same building. It's a busy part of the city, so there’s always noise outside from the cars and buses. Inside, it's mostly about the textile work. We have stacks of fabric everywhere and the machines are running most of the day. It gets dusty, but that’s just how it is when you’re dealing with cloth. Some of us have worked here for years and know exactly where everything is kept, even if it looks a bit messy to someone walking in for the first time. We handle a lot of different orders. Sometimes it’s quiet, but usually, we’re trying to keep up with what needs to get done. The office isn't anything fancy, just desks and chairs and too many files. We just keep things moving. You can see the traffic from the window, which is a good reminder of how fast everything moves outside while we're tucked away in here. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things over. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty for visitors. We focus on the loads coming in and going out. It's practical work. Most days are long, and the coffee isn't great, but we’ve got a routine that works for us. It’s just how the mill runs day after day.
